O’l Lucky’s Blog

I’ve been playing some Johnny Taylor lately and plan on adding more. Johnny Taylor’s is a timeless sound. His “Last Two Dollars” is perfect for paton’s of Oklahoma’s 77 casinos. I must admit that I never waste my money in a casino. I play the horses.

Ol’ Lucky grew up in the cotton fields surrounding Memphis and remembers dancing with his

babysitter as she listened to Fats Domino and Elvis Presley. He listened to the AM radio

following stars such as Carl Perkins, BB King, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash. Blues turned to

the British invasion and back to the blues with the Rolling Stones, John Mayall, and the

Yardbirds. Today he is spinning the new classics from Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Sheppard

and The Jeremiah Johnson Band.  Hear it all! Tune in to The Ol’ Lucky Show for blues classics

from the ‘50s through today!
